Silly Girl

This week, Haylee has actually been more of a happy little girl than a whiny girl. Maybe it's because I keep telling her she has to be good all week if she wants to go to the zoo.

Haylee has a new "thing" with wanting to carry around my purse, keys, money, receipts etc. It's pretty funny how she prances around the house with the purse on her arm and carrying everything else in her hands (because she can't put the keys, money etc. in the purse ya know).

We bought Haylee a booster seat to try the transition from high chair to booster. I think I like the high chair better because it contains more of the mess. Haylee hasn't decided which one she likes better but feels more like a "big girl" in the "big girl seat" I think.

Now we just need to work on table manners............

Yesterday we all went out back to enjoy the beautiful weather (actually it was a little colder yesterday) and do some yard work. Haylee loved raking and shoveling with of all things, the pooper scooper.

And just when you thought Haylee couldn't get any cuter! Haylee just loves to sing and dance. Anytime she hears music she immediately starts jammin' out. This is a video of her last night getting her groove on while singing E-I-E-I-O. No wonder she's so tiny, dancing all day is quite the workout!

Monster Jam

We took Haylee to her 1st Monster Jam last night. We had great seats and Haylee and Hannah loved the "big trucks!" It was pretty loud so Hannah wore ear plugs but Haylee fought me when I tried to cover her ears. Of course, we were rooting for Grave Digger but Bounty Hunter won it all. This is going to be a new tradition every year for Mom, Dustin, Hannah, and us-we had a fun time!

Work it Babers!

Haylee loves the Wii. Everytime we are playing, she has to "play" too, especially when it comes to Wii Fit. She loves to be on the board "working out" and doing the hula hoop. This morning she was bowling with Daddy and doing her Saturday morning workout and it was the cutest thing so I had to share the pictures with everyone.

Prayer Request

I just wanted to share a couple of blogs with everyone I heard about through Bring the Rain. Both Harper and Brayden were born last week and are having problems with their health. Please pray that they will get better soon so that they can go home to be with their families.

It's Official...

We are trying for baby #2!

I had an appointment today with my OBGYN and we discussed how Josh and I are ready for another baby. The exam went well- nothing out of the ordinary, but because I've had a few minor "issues" lately, she wants to do an ultrasound to make sure everything looks good and that no more cyst have appeared. She also wants me to have some blood drawn to check my thyroid. She said if I'm not pregnant within 6-7 months she will start me on some medicine to "pop out those eggs". I'm not exactly sure what that means, but I'm hoping it doesn't come down to me being on any medicine. I know I was extremely lucky to get pregnant right away with Haylee, but I do hope my endometriosis hasn't progressed to the point where I have problems conceiving.

We will keep everyone updated on our journey to give Haylee a little brother/sister. The ultrasound is scheduled for Feb. 19th so I will know more then (or possibly sooner).

Zoo, Mall, Chuck E Cheese, Oh My!

On Friday, a group of us went to the zoo. We had such a fun time and all of the kids liked playing together. Haylee especially liked riding in the wagon-her 1st time ever! (I know she doesn't look thrilled, but she had fun).

That night, Josh and I enjoyed a yummy dinner at Serrano's. A big thanks to my mom for watching little Haylee. We went by Walmart on the way home, and to my surprise, they had Wii Fit. So far I love it. It's a real workout but it's also fun. And, I have to laugh at Josh doing the hulla hoop. It's great!

Saturday night, Josh and I took Haylee to the Rainforrest Cafe for dinner. I thought she might be afraid when it thunders and the gorillas go crazy but she loved it. She really liked the aquariums with fish and the elephants too. After dinner we took her on the carousel in the mall. She was such a happy girl, and it was a wonderful family night out.

Sunday, while Josh was enjoying the Cardinals game, I took Haylee to Chuck E Cheese with my Mom, Dustin and Hannah. Haylee was actually scared of both Chuck-E-Cheese and some of the rides. Usually she loves rides but not this time.

Josh had a fun time at the game and we can't believe the Cardinals are going to the Superbowl!

Buttons

Little Haylee girl is obsessed with "buttons". Every time we walk by a light switch she keeps saying, "button, button, button" till we let her flip the switch on and off a few times. Whenever we come home she starts saying "button" before we are even in the garage because she wants to push the button to close the garage door. Well, you should have seen her face today when I pulled a chair up to a new set of "buttons" she hasn't played with before- you would have thought she was at Disneyland.

Dory

Haylee got a new betta fish on Friday that she (we) named Dory. She loves to sit on the counter and watch little Dory all day long..........until she kicks the bowl and it almost slides off the counter onto the floor.

Duck Bit Me

It was a beautiful day today so Josh and I took Haylee to the zoo. Haylee just loves animals and never gets sick of going to the zoo. Haylee was throwing food at the ducks and one came up and bit her finger. She didn't cry so I don't think it hurt, but we haven't heard the end of it since it happened. All day she has been talking about the duck and holding up her hand. She did have fun playing in the Little People Discovery Farm, "feeding" the cow and "petting" the horse. She also went down the slide about 20 times and topped off the day with a ride on the carousel.

New Year & New Blog

I've decided to start the new year with a new blog. We enjoy staying busy and we're always on the go, creating lots of memories we'd like to share with our loved ones.

We started off the new year by taking Haylee up to Flagstaff to play in the snow. She wasn't so sure about it- I don't think she liked being cold. Hannah (Haylee's cousin) on the other hand, loved being in the snow. We were surprised by how much it snowed while we were up there.
